Anyone who knows me knows that I have a big man-crush on Nathan Fillion. From the moment I pressed play on my first viewing of the ridiculously awesome Firefly, I have followed Mr. Fillion’s career with passion. I even forced myself to sit all the way through a movie that even his superb acting couldn’t save, and a show that didn’t seem to know what it wanted to be.
Suffice it to say, that when I was thinking of a prize that the OaG Ray would lose his mind over, there was little in the way of choices, heh. Anyway, I’m really having a fantastic time doing this comic. Forcing myself to maintain simplicity in my style is something that I think my art is benefiting from and I’m finding myself completely blown away by each new strip.
This shit looks professional, man!

Y’know if you have such a huge mancrush on Mr. Fillion (and if you haven’t already done so), you should really check out the TV show Castle. I am wholeheartedly addicted, and I believe it to be one of my favorite TV shows ever. (Excepting Firefly of course because that was just all kinds of win.) As far as crime dramas though, this one takes the cake. It’s got a lot of great humor in it that I think you would relate to the way I do…and laugh your butt off. Anyway, sharing the Fillion love.
