First off, let me tell you that Blankets really is a fantastic comic. If you haven’t read it yet, you really should.  It will change the way you see the comic book (or in this case, graphic novel) as a story-telling medium.  A good deal of years ago, Shaun introduced me to this wonderful book and I was blown away.  From the touching–and often powerful–writing to the unique and inspiring art style, this is a gem.

That said…it is big…and heavy…and would do a great deal of damage to a man’s face were it thrown directly at it.
