And you thought I’d forgotten about Nolan, heh.  In the strip’s continuity, Nolan is Ray’s roommate and the owner of The Two Rivers Pub.  An avid fan of all things Wheel of Time and Elder Scrolls, Nolan isn’t always right, but is never wrong.

Most of the original run of the strip was written from actual conversations–recreated word-for-word–that he and I had at one time or another.
