Hey, guys!
No a whole lot going on for today’s post. I did a review of Tequila Works’ XBLA game, Deadlight for 8DaG the yesterday, if you’d like to read it. Other than that, though, I’m on vacation from work and sort of taking it easy and spending a little more time with the family than an average work week allows so I haven’t really been working on as much of my creative stuff as you’d think.
That said, though, I did have an idea today that I think I’m going to experiment with a little in the next week or so. When I have more, you guys will be the first to know.
Oh, yeah, and since it’s Wednesday, I have a little message from Brian for you:
“There might be some of you (or perhaps none of you) that were expecting a review this week on Lego Batman 2. Let me assure that I have done one, but is not quite finished yet.
Why has it not been finished yet you ask? Ray is a great friend of mine and I want to provide him (and you) with the best end product I can create. For myself I feel that just writing a review will not convey that.
For those who do not know I have a background in film and film editing and would love to utilize that for my review’s and Ray’s site. I realize I can just record myself speaking about the game and it’s features and be done with it, but I can do more with them (plus no one wants to see my ugly mug). With that being said, I have at least a minute and half of simple (at least simple in my opinion) editing done to the review, however that minute in a half has taken hours to do. Needless to say, it’s been a few years since I actually sat done and edited video and I had forgotten how long the process can actually take.
The Lego Batman 2 review will be delayed, but not that long. I am hoping to have it done by Thursday night. I am exicited though for this review though and the next one. And I hope you are as well. While this review will just have stills, the next reviews will contain my actual gameplay and should be easier to edit together.”
Going forward, I’m going to work on a better way of putting Brian’s (and Tim’s, if he accepts my offer) posts in the blog; for now, though, I hope this’ll do.
That’s all I have today, guys. To make up for the lack of content in today’s blog post, here’s a fresh Fyreball relaunch page.
