First off, let me tell you that Blankets really is a fantastic comic. If you haven’t read it yet, you really should. It will change the way you see the comic book (or in this case, graphic novel) as a story-telling medium. A good deal of years ago, Shaun introduced me to this wonderful book … Continue reading

Careful What You Wish For
Enter Bruce! Okay, so, in the last week, I have been a prisoner of my 360. Skyrim is, for lack of a better word, mindblowing. I’ll give a better review on it at a later date. Also, I intend to gush over Halo Anniversary as soon as I get the chance to play it as I … Continue reading
Drake’s MISfortune
Okay, so I’m taking a quick break from the guys to bring you an Uncharted comic. I’ve been a HUGE fan of the Uncharted series since the first one (it was the reason I purchased a PS3) and, from the first time I heard Nathan Drake drop a one-liner–voiced by the always awesome, Nolan North–he jumped … Continue reading
Stop and Smell the Flowers
Hey, guys! Sorry the comic’s a few days late. It’s been a busy week and it’s only going to get busier. I’m going to do my best to make sure the comic is updated twice a week while I’m writing my NaNoWriMo story, but as this week would hint at, this might be a bit more difficult … Continue reading
Click, Click, Boom
As with Ray, Shaun, and Nolan, Tim is an exaggerated version of the real Tim. Though, I will say that I’ve felt much like a whimpering child sitting on the opposite side of a HeroClix map while he dished out the punishment like Thor wielding Mjolnir. That said…there is an incident in which Tim faced a … Continue reading
Daydreams of Doom
There is a laundry list of things that Shaun and I can garner a heated debate from. Star Wars is one of them. Don’t get me wrong, I hold a special place in my heart for the Holy Trilogy; a trio of perfection when untouched by the hands of the Great Bearded One and his … Continue reading
Jenn’s Birthday
No comic till Tuesday, guys. It’s Jennifer’s birthday today and mine on Sunday. So, instead, I’ll be spending time with the family and with my Xbox. But I wouldn’t leave you without anything at all…so, in honor of Jenn’s birthday today, here’s a lil’ something for her! Have a good weekend, guys! –Ray Continue reading
Dreams Can Come True
Anyone who knows me knows that I have a big man-crush on Nathan Fillion. From the moment I pressed play on my first viewing of the ridiculously awesome Firefly, I have followed Mr. Fillion’s career with passion. I even forced myself to sit all the way through a movie that even his superb acting couldn’t save, and … Continue reading
The Liefeld Incident
I have always been shrouded in a dense fog of wonder as to how it is Rob Liefeld has a job in the comics industry. I’ll be the first to admit that I don’t think my art is anywhere near the quality of today’s professional artists, but, seriously? Neither is his! I mean, if … Continue reading
Customer Service
Aaaaaand, enter Shaun! We now have three of our main characters; Shaun, Nolan and, of course, Ray. I have been working on the Meet the Geeks page, which will be done in a series of “TCG”-type cards. I’ll post them as I finish them, starting with Ray. Also, I’m going to try and whip up … Continue reading
