This started as a quick sketch (the original lines for which I’ll probably post later tonight) I did while waiting for Jennifer to get ready for our trip to Chicago yesterday.  However, when we got home and I decided to unwind by throwing some colors on it, the image kind of got away from me and ended up far more finished than I had intended.  The idea was to work on some character concepts for a project I’m putting together just to test an art style and coloring method; both of which I think I’ll end up using.  Though, to be honest, the image is too “movie” for me.  I think I’ll go back tonight and give it a more storybook feel.

Anyway, I was pretty happy with how the panterly look turned out.  What you think?
