Okay, fist…

A lot of thought and contemplation went into this comic and the subsequent storyline you’ll be seeing in the coming weeks.  My reasons for killing Shaun are varied and none of them are malicious nor do they represent a hidden meaning of any kind.  I stand by my decision and believe it will work out for the betterment of the strip as a whole.  As to the strip itself, well, I decided to end Shaun’s run in the strip in a fashion that screams Only a Geek…as in “only a geek would get this shit…”  Which was, of course, the inspiration behind the strip’s name. So, ten points to whoever “gets this.”

Just to be clear, though, I do not want to kill the real Shaun. Nor is he actually dead.

Okay, now that that’s out of the way, I can move on to some other stuff. I’ll start with Only a Geek’s new schedule. From now on I will be posting on a Monday, Wednesday, Friday schedule with comics bookending the week and a blog post in the middle. The blog post will consist of my usual fair, such as reviews, general art posts, and Fyreball stuff. I will be busting my ass to maintain this schedule to the best of my abilities which means trying to stay ahead on the comic and give myself a buffer of a strip or two throughout the week.
